These brackets provide rigidity to help minimize the sheet metal of the truck bed from extreme torque. They add an extra 3/8-inches of steel, composed of a 3/16-inch stiffener and a 3/16-inch backer plate. At the top of each bracket are accessory mounting locations suitable for items like a whip flag or antenna mount.
